Just a few weeks after landing a three-year, $6.9M dollar contract with the New York Jets; running-back Mike Goodson landed himself behind bars this morning with drug and illegal firearm possession. According to New Jersey enforcement, Goodson was passenger in a GMC Yukon with associate Garant Evans behind the wheel.
They were seen on Route 80 in the Denville section of NJ, which a local tow truck driver spotted them in the left center lane and immediately notified authorities. The two were arrested for “suspicion of possession of marijuana with less than 50 grams of drug paraphernalia in their possession; and on top of that, a loaded handgun containing hollow-point bullets. Evans, who already had prior felony convictions and traffic summonses, was arrested with the same charges as Goodson along with a DUI charge.
Both Mike and Garant were taken to Morristown jail, where Goodson was held on $50,000 bail. Whether he’s been released yet remains to be seen; but without football Sunday’s, Ray Lewis never lied.

Phil Jackson might be one of the only human beings walking this earth that could make this comparison and give us great insight between the two, considering he won multiple championships each. So what does he say about both Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan? Well, they both have that competitive zeal that is unmatched. One thing that differentiates the two, is that Kobe let it stop on the court. Michael, on the other hand, carried it over to other aspects of life. Another thing that Mike had an advantage in over Kobe, was his knowledge of the game, after going to North Carolina University.
Phil talks about all of this and how he set up a meeting between the two, off the court, and MJ had a few words for the Black Mamba. He also spoke on what happened with him almost getting the coaching job back after the Lakers fired Mike Brown.

Click image to watch Juicy J interview with FuseTV
Juicy J stopped by FuseTV to discuss his new album “Stay Trippy” which he’s recorded over 70 tracks so far and is still having adjustments for the final cut. He went on to name The Weeknd-featured “One Of Those Nights” one of his favorite tracks on the album and listed out some of the song titles on the album including “Sex” with 2Chainz and Trina.
One day when he was sitting down smoking something, Juicy came up with the concept of “Trippy” which he said as long as you getting turnt up floating on Cloud 9 (or 10), then you’re part of the movement. Juicy closed out talking on Pimp C which he’s not saying where he got the verse from, but was thankful to have an unreleased verse that sounded on par with the current sound of music.
You can check after the jump to watch the interview and stay tuned for his third studio album “Stay Trippy” releasing on July 2nd.

We’ve been really enjoying the music release the last few months with RZA’s “The Man with the Iron Fists” OST, and most recently the highly-praised Ghostface concept album, “Twelve Reasons to Die.” It’s crazy to think they’ve already been in the game for over two decades with the 20th anniversary of their debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers” set for this November, but the 8-man crew from Shaolin have had longevity in the game and show why they continue as legends.
Tonight, Soul Temple Music releases some unreleased Wu-Tang material out of the vault titled “Execution In Autumn.” Listen to the track above for some real hip-hop, then head over to bandcamp and purchase the single.

Spurs Head To The Western Conference Finals To Avenge Their 2011 First Round Embarrassment Against Memphis.
Coming into game 6 last night, San Antonio was planned to return home on Friday morning, but not to host a game 7 against the Warriors; instead planning for a game 1 meeting Sunday afternoon against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Golden State Warriors, have gave us some of the most exciting moments for the playoffs in quite some time led by the jaw dropping shooting from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Since Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, has figured out how to contain their shooting, the two have went on a cold streak. Curry, who’s bee dealing with ankle injuries, was forced him to take a backseat to Klay; who was obviously not ready for this big of a stage in his career. In game 6, Tim Duncan came out making a statement in the first quarter scoring one third of the Spurs total points to set the tone of the game.
David Lee also made some contributions in the first quarter scoring 4 of his 9 points for the game to give the team some relief. Steph Curry would continue into 2nd quarter trying to keep his team in the game scoring 11 of the 21 points before halftime; but San Antonio’s balance of offense at all angels was just too much for Golden State to endure.

Knicks Head To Indiana With Hopes Of Returning Back Home For A Game 7.
The last 24 hours in the city have memorable watching from a third person perspective from seeing people’s awkward reaction to Kanye West’s new album and even J.R. Smith throwing a downtown party on the eve of their potential season-ending game. The Knicks faithful were staying loyal to their team with aspirations of just getting a chance to head back to Indiana and extend the series back home.
Knicks head coach Mike Woodson, would install Chris Copeland into the rotation providing a huge lift off the bench with Jason Kidd and J.R. Smith’s lack of consistency scoring. Amar’e Stoudemire and Steve Novak are both also dealing with injuries they’re trying to work their way through but saw limited action. The pacers were without their starting point guard George Hill, who suffered a concussion during game 4.
Indiana would insert Lance Stephenson into the starting lineup which they would instantly see the decline in production without Hill in the action, as Lance only scored 4 points in 1-7 of shooting. The Pacers essentially run a 5-man rotation for their starters which made them vulnerable last night against the Knicks.
