The-Dream – IV Play (Artwork x Tracklist)
In only two months, The-Dream has prepared his fifth studio album, IV Play with not only good marketing, but also good singles and visuals highlighted by “Slow It Down” and “IV Play.” The album’s been in the works for nearly 2 years, as he had name changes from Love Affair and Love IV to deliver this final product in two weeks via Def Jam.

The Weekend Playlist (April 12, 2013)
The weekend is here, bitches! And you know what means? We’re going to be knee deep in some alcohol, awaiting good times (and hungover mornings). While we get ready for the Saturday and Sunday ratchetness, the soundtrack to our weekend will be crucial. This week was especially crazy, because we got big songs from Rap’s elite.
It never hurts to get a new song for Jay-Z, either. So that will continue in our rotation for days/weeks to come, as we set off today’s Weekend Playlist with that. We didn’t add too much R&B (and definitely no alternative) in this edition, so expect more rap than usual. Compton, Detroit, Brooklyn, North Carolina, and Los Angeles all represented.
Check out what our OnSMASH staff will be bumping this weekend, after the jump.

We saw last week’s visuals for The-Dream’s single “Slow It Down” with Loso, but he isn’t slowing up with the records leading up to his album “IV Play,” now releasing the title track from the project. From the songs title, you would think that he’s talking about the moment leading up to love making with your significant other, but The-Dream’s getting straight to the point for the ladies, being as blunt as ever. We know this song and his album should be another late night collection to add to the playlist whenever you’re in the mood, so enjoy this appetizer until the main course is served next month.
Stay tuned for the American Dream’s fifth studio album “IV Play,” coming May 28th, with features from Pusha T, Fabolous and more to be announced soon.

The-Dream Set To Release “Love IV” In 2013
Def Jam crooner Terius Nash has been hard at work over the course of the year, enhancing his singing, songwriting, producing and acting abilities. It’s well known that The-Dream has been busy collaborating with Beyoncé for her upcoming release, as well as playing a vital role in Rihanna’s first number one album Unapologetic. Besides helping other important acts, he has also been putting out his very own content. From connecting with G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T on “Dope Bitch“, to re-releasing his 1977 project in physical form, due out just before Christmas on December 18th.
Even though his fourth studio album has not yet been released, The-Dream has recently spoke on his upcoming fifth album titled Love IV, set for release in March of next year. After previewing a record featuring Gucci Mane titled “Paid” and a solo slow jam fittingly titled “Foreplay” in a New York listening session, we are told to expect the tracks to be included on his 2013 project.

Now that the retail version of 1977 is in full swing, another bonus track from the album has been released by Terius himself. “Tender Tendencies” is exactly like that title suggests, a slow ballad that is ready to set the mood for that tender love, no Force MD’s.
Stay tuned for 1977 to drop in stores everywhere on December 18.
