The-Dream – Kill The Lights (feat. Casha)

Producer: The-Dream
Album: The Love IV: Diary Of A Madman
Label: Radio Killa / Def Jam Records
iTunes:

Only HOURS after giving us the video for his first single “ROC,” Terius Nash slows it all the way down as he lets the song live up quite well to the song title, “Kill The Lights.” How does it stack up against previous baby-making tracks we’ve heard on his albums?

Let it marinate, test it out this weekend and let us know.

Rihanna – Birthday Cake (Remix) (feat. Chris Brown)

Producer: Da Internz & The-Dream
Album: Talk That Talk
Label: The Island Def Jam Music Group
iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/talk-that-talk-deluxe-edition/id479321646

And almost simultaneously, Chris Brown drops the remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” single on Twitter. World premiering each other’s remixes? Aw, that’s cute.

Then the track gets a bit explicit.

The-Dream – Wake Me When It’s Over

Producer: The-Dream
Album: 1977
Label: Def Jam

Looks like The-Dream is going against the grain and dropping 1977, even though the label doesn’t want it out. He was on Twitter not too long ago saying the likelihood of them killing his project is very high, but he still hopes to get the project to the ears of his fans before they do. For now, listen to his latest track. 1977 drops tomorrow.

The-Dream – Murderer

Terius Nash releases his first drop from the 1977 mixtape he will be putting out August 31. The 10-track mixtape will serve as the prelude to his upcoming album The Love IV: Diary Of A Madman, tentatively scheduled for release this fall. “Murderer” was inspired by the movie Colombiana and if you watch it with the extended trailer, it looks like Wizard Of Oz and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon synced together.

Ok, maybe not that much.

The-Dream – Motivation (Remix)

The-Dream took a little vacation musically, but his grand return to the game is his rendition of Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation” with Lil Wayne. We’ve been rocking with Kelly’s single more than Beyonce’s, so hearing The-Dream on it was a nice change of pace.

Diddy-Dirty Money – Ass On The Floor (Remix)

Producer: The-Dream, Tricky Stewart
Album: Last Train To Paris
Label: Interscope
iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/last-train-to-paris-deluxe/id408089254

This. Is. The. Remix. The funny part about this track though is the fact that The-Dream and Tricky Stewart managed to take an uptempo club groove and completely flip into a slowed down bump and grind version of their single.
