Pardon The Wave, Max B Checks In From Jail With Statik Selektah On Showoff Radio

max-b-interview-september-20th

The waviest one, Max B, uses some of his phone time and calls up Statik Selektah on Showoff Radio (Shade 45) to speak on a few things and check in while he’s in the box. He was asked what artists he’s been listening to and he revealed he gets Power 99 in Philly, so everything that they play he’s a fan of. Especially hearing French Montana on the radio.

One thing he did stress, is to sign the petition on Pardon The Wave, and help the cause because he feels he got an unfair trial. So if you’re out in the streets screaming “Free Max B,” make sure you show support and help Max.

Listen to his interview with Statik Selektah above.

A Conversation With Statik Selektah & Scram Jones About The DJ Culture Then vs. Now

Statik Selektah and Scram Jones really break down the art of DJ’ing for all you young cats who don’t know what it was like back in the day. They both tell stories of growing up and learning the trade, saving up to buy vinyl and putting their skills to the test.

Although the game has drastically changed with the help of the Internet, Serato and club DJ’s, they still want to preserve the art and have made it a mission to put the next generation on to how it’s really done, instead of how they do it now.

Directed by Smoke Stack Recordings and Pace Media.
