Statik Selektah – Extended Play (Artwork x Tracklist)
A topic of conversation that typically occurs from time to time is the way that plenty of hip-hop music is watered down with a phenomenal amount of pop-influence. The complete opposite is the case with Statik Selektah’s new project titled Extended Play, as he connects with the likes of Action Bronson, Black Thought, Freddie Gibbs, Raekwon, Prodigy, Styles P, Flatbush Zombies, Pro Era, Blu and many more familiar faces across 18 wholesome tracks. Be sure to purchase the project when it becomes available for purchase on June 18th via Showoff/Duck Down Music.

Based solely on the quality of material that Jared Evan has been releasing over the past few months, it’s definitely been a year to remember for the New York singer/rapper already. Just yesterday we were gifted with the nostalgic video for “Are We Almost There Yet?,” but there’s no stopping the constant momentum that’s currently in place. Although the track was positioned as a bonus cut on his recent Boom Bap & Blues album, the option to stream “Bad News” is now available for your listening pleasure. Once again the song is produced by Statik Selektah, who also put together the original 10 tracks on the project.
