Even Cappadonna and Masta Killah! The album will represent that gritty NY street rap that’s been missing in the game for a minute.

They also both give it up to newcomers like J. Cole and Action Bronson, saying they are fans of them, in terms of the new generation of rappers on the rise.

Mister Cee’s “Best Of Tuesdays” (Ruff Ryders Edition)

The Ruff Ryders, WHAT!?! THE RUFF RYDERS! The legendary DJ Mister Cee held his weekly “Best Of Tuesdays” series on Hot 97 earlier today and shocked us when he did an tribute set for the Ruff Ryders. Surprisingly, instead of having dark man X as the main focus in this set, the entire crew got love throughout the entire 60-minute Throwback At Noon mix as the finisher gave us a walk down memory lane playing all our favorite Ruff Ryders hits and some original versions of rare songs.

DMX recently spoke with the Breakfast Club last week about his desire to do another real Ruff Ryders album with the original cast. After listening to this mix from Mister Cee, we would really like to see that re-union album happen ASAP!

Sit back and enjoy of your favorite double R tracks from the likes of DMX, The LOX (not D-Block), Drag-On, Eve, Swizz Beatz, and Jin with special guest Jay-Z.
