In lieu of Jon Connor’s Unconscious State hitting iTunes on June 4th, Connor decided to leak the first record from the release. Featuring Detroit’s own Royce Da 5’9″, the two let you know what they’re about up here in The Mitten. From Flint to Detroit, this is that “Michigan Shit”.

Kid Vishis – Straight Out Of Detroit (feat. Royce Da 5’9″)

kid-vishis-straight-out-of

We’ve heard nothing but good things regarding Kid Vishis’ upcoming mixtape Sick Em Vol. 3 and for his first offering from the project, Vishis grabs his older brother, Royce Da 5’9″, to do what these two are known to do to beats. While we wait for more news about the mixtape to be revealed, we see no reason you can’t rock with this for now.

Havoc – Tell Me To My Face (feat. Royce Da 5’9″)

It’s certain that Havoc played a huge part in some of favorite music from the past decade, but now he returns for the first track taken from his forthcoming solo album. While we’re still unsure about what the future holds for Mobb Deep, the artist links up with Slaughterhouse’s very own Royce Da 5’9″ for “Tell Me To My Face.” The four-minute period of lyrical substance is boosted by versatile production from Havoc, along with a little help from FMG. His third solo album 13 is scheduled for release via Nature Sounds later this year.

Royce Da 5’9″ – Get The Dust Off

Royce had to dust off the mic as he spits his flow to get thing on a good start again. Borrowing “We Major” beat to assist him into his 32 bars. He feels brand new for 2013. Of course he got more music to come. We never count out Royce especially this early in the year. As of whats to come next, that’s another story.

In light of the events late last week, Fat Joe adds a very sentimental verse on the Slaugherhouse “Goodbye” record in dedication to the late Chris Lighty. Joel Ortiz also adds a new verse in remembrance to the late Hip-Hop mogul as well.

Its The Real: Slaughterhouse’s Complex Feelings

Complex Magazine put out a “Top 30 Rappers In Their 30′s” list, and several rappers weren’t too happy with their ranking. So Its The Real decided to get the opinion of Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden and Royce Da 5’9″ made the cut, but low on the rankings) about the list.

Slaughterhouse – See Dead People

Slaughterhouse drop off a new one from their upcoming Gangsta Grillz On The House project. “See Dead People” has all 4 memebers going strong over Lloyd Banks “1, 2, 3 Grind” beat that AraabMUZIK produced on The Cold Corner 2 project. Nothing but bars as they murder it and give you back the beat back killed for. Look out for that On The House and that welcome to: OUR HOUSE album dropping on August 28th.

Good news for Slaughterhouse fans. Before the welcome to: OUR HOUSE is released, Slaughterhouse has linked up with DJ Drama for a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. Taking it to the lyrical slaughter they’re so known for, they rip Nas’ “Nasty” for the first preview.

Slaughterhouse’s first single, “My Life,” was definitely radio friendly. This next one is for the club. Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9″ and Crooked I try to recreate what they did on “The One,” except with that “SHOWTIME!” 2012 feel.

Do you think they’ll smash the dance floor with this one? Their upcoming Shady Records debut album Welcome to: OUR HOUSE is due out August 28.
