Prodigy & Alchemist – R.I.P. (feat. Havoc & Raekwon)
Out of the list of A-grade project that are scheduled to be released this month, there’s no doubt that Prodigy and Alchemist’s full-length collaboration is up there in terms of importance. The pair return today with their latest single titled “R.I.P.,” along with guest features from two other heavyweights in the game, Havoc and Raekwon. The track is everything we’d like to expect as an overall outcome, with their Albert Einstein album available to pre-order on iTunes ahead of its release on June 11th.

Raekwon – Soundboy Kill It (feat. Melanie Fiona)
Earlier this week a radio rip of Raekwon’s new single “Sound Boy Kill It” featuring Melanie Fiona hit the net. The high quality version is now available for stream and much like you might expect, The Chef blesses us with some fire over a vintage sounding break-beat. With Melanie Fiona holding down the smooth vocals on the hook, we can see this record picking up in the tri-state area this Summer.
Stay tuned for his F.I.L.A. project to drop later this year!

Wu-Tang Clan – Execution In Autumn
We’ve been really enjoying the music release the last few months with RZA’s “The Man with the Iron Fists” OST, and most recently the highly-praised Ghostface concept album, “Twelve Reasons to Die.” It’s crazy to think they’ve already been in the game for over two decades with the 20th anniversary of their debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers” set for this November, but the 8-man crew from Shaolin have had longevity in the game and show why they continue as legends.
Tonight, Soul Temple Music releases some unreleased Wu-Tang material out of the vault titled “Execution In Autumn.” Listen to the track above for some real hip-hop, then head over to bandcamp and purchase the single.
Produced by Frank Dukes.

So soulful, don’t you agree?

YelaWolf sticks to his word tonight and drops his latest mixtape, Trunk Muzik Returns, for the people. Fitted with 10-tracks that showcase Yela’s prime ability to spit with the best of em, this project is absolutely not to be slept on. The production is spot on with Yela’s fast flow and witty wordplay. Pretty dope of Catfish Billy to keep the features pretty minimal on this as well. Features artists on this include Killer Mike, A$AP Rocky, Paul Wall and Raekwon.

Raekwon – Whatever Baby (feat. JD Era)
That Ice H20 crew hasn’t been quiet during 2013, but they’re continuing with the music and it can’t be any more apparent than their latest leak “Whatever Baby.” On the track, Raekwon and JD Era rock a soul sample and kick rhymes about shortys. No word on what project this will be found on, so keep it rotation for the vault.
