Are you ready for the veteran, Busta Rhymes, to drop some new shit? After several teasers, he releases his new single titled “Twerk It.” If you’re judging it by the title —-yes this is for the clubs— and even more, it’s way left field.
Produced by Pharrell.
Producer: Daft Punk
Album: Random Access Memories
Label: Columbia Records
After watching the preview of “Get Lucky” for their SNL ad, the Daft Punk, Pharrell and Nile Rodgers single from Random Access Memories surfaces. The track is just as funk as it was in the teaser, and it’s got us hype for what’s to come from the album.
Two-step to “Get Lucky” in all its musical glory above.
Last fall, Pharrell Willams re-launched his “Ice Cream” skating team, which consists of four of the hottest up and coming street skaters in the states. First members Andre Beverley, Emmet Duffy, Jamel Marshall and Stephan Martinez were handpicked by Skateboard P himself, with a goal of giving opportunities to children in urban markets they wouldn’t normally receive.
Pharrell’s ICECREAM team’s platform emphasis is to help showcase the talents from the freshest kids in the skate world, letting us follow them from day one to know their personality and stories before they go Pro. In the clip above, the skaters are in action, as Pharrell gives his crew a quick pep talk, breaking down the true definition of “Ice Cream.”

Disclaimer: We’re going to let you know off the bat, this interview is almost an hour long. If you have 55 minutes to spare, please do yourself the favor and watch this.
Without knowing what to expect, we watched this “Back and Forth” with Pharrell and Henry Rollins and were completely drawn in to his story. Who is Henry Rollins, you ask? You will learn so much about him after watching this clip. Not only did join the punk band Black Flag and toured with them as their lead singer in the ’80s, but he is an actor who has appeared in TV and film, has served as a radio show host, and most recently, been a human rights activist that visited troops overseas through the USO.
The two part interview explores Henry’s story, from how he joined Black Flag (he recalls encounters with elitist punk fans in the early ’80s during his days on tour) to the influence he received from Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight at a young age. He also reveals to Pharrell his distaste for drugs and alcohol during his High School days.
Producer: The Neptunes
Album: Student of the Game
Label: eOne Music
P.A.P.I. or the artist formerly known as N.O.R.E. gives us the CDQ version of his monster track “The Problem” with a feature from Pharrell. This will find it’s way onto P.A.P.I.’s Student Of The Game album, which is set to drop on April 16. We have no complaints with this cut either as Skateboard P did the damn thing on this hook.
It was the invasion of R&B this week, as almost half our our Top 10 belongs to the genre. More interestingly, it’s spawned a little competition from two of them, making the Internet pit Justin Timberlake against Robin Thicke for best visual.
The rest of our videos remain to some rap heavyweights, with 2 Chainz getting two looks, much like director Topshelf Junior (for videos from different genres too).
Unfortunately, this means Alternative videos got snubbed.
Peep the Top 10 after the jump.

Pharrell Williams gets back involved with one of the brands he helped bring many American eyes to in the early 2000′s, Japanese streetwear giants A Bathing Ape. Skateboard P has been one of the number one supporters for many years, doing many business ventures with owner NIGO, and also being inspired by the brand to start his own lines, which we all know today as BBC/ICECREAM, that share a similar BAPE look.
P and NIGO have came back together for the new year, linking up for a special lookbook where Pharrell can be seen modeling both the Bathing Ape and Billionaire Boy Club Spring 2013 Collections. P sports a variety of pieces from the BAPE and the brand new mature Mr. Bathing Ape collection, as well as few looks from the new BBC spring line.

After the relaunch announcement of Producer Pharrell’s ICECREAM Team, the new crew packed up their bags and hit the road to do what they do best, taking their talents to Miami and Chicago for a quick skate tour. The team hits up some of Miami and the Chi’s well-known landmarks and skate-spots and get some great footage, for what looks like an upcoming ICECREAM skate tape.
In the video above, watch the ICECREAM team have fun and hit a couple tricks over a unreleased Pharrell’s instrumental.
Pharrell recently sat with MTV’s Buzzworthy for a quick Q&A to discuss a wide array of topics. He touches briefly on his new “Places and Spaces I’ve Been” to bring fans into his different experiences he’s had in music and life in general not making it solely focused on him but to bring light to just the experience itself. Skateboard P then jumped into talking about Miley Cyrus as the two have been working together in the studio currently and he’s enjoying the results thus far with a new evolving sound she’s creating for herself.
The video closes out with P speaking on artist he’s looking forward to in 2013 which he listed out Adele, Jay-Z, Frank Ocean and went into Tyler, the Creator’s long awaited major sophomore album “Wolf” which we’re likely to see next year as well.
You can purchase P’s new book “Places and Spaces I’ve Been” on Amazon and various retailers right now.
We were all wondering whether the fan favourite “Pretty Flacko” would make an appearance on Dat PMF’s debut album, but now we get the official remix of the track. After performing the original version at numerous shows around the world, A$AP Rocky comes through with the star-studded remix consisting of Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame and Pharrell Williams. While the last feature may seem abnormal amongst the rest, the song balances out perfectly for a reboot of his classic anthem, just in time for the hype to begin.
During Pharrell’s Q & A at Design Miami for last weeks Art Basel event, Mr. Kanye West made a surprise appearance amongst the fans and bystanders to ask a few questions of his own. ‘Ye goes in asking skateboard P how he developed his sense in art/fashion-taste, and how he came to become so influential to the culture.
To kick off his “Time Pieces” web-series, video director Jason Goldwatch links up with producer Pharrell and supermodel/actress Karolina Kurkova, to capture the couple’s classic 2006 VOGUE Magazine photo shoot in Brazil. The two take a couple very classy intimate shots, while they have some fun and enjoy their overseas vacation.
Take a look at Super Producer Pharrell Williams multi-million dollar Miami penthouse. Skateboard P originally purchased the crib for $12.5M in 2007, but due to the many expansions and add-on’s throughout the years, the asking price for the crib is now $16.8M. Pharrell’s palace comes equipped with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, a rooftop terrace, a private swimming pool, and much more.
Take a detailed look at the inside of Skateboard P’s decked out multi-million dollar bachelor pad below and after the jump.
In the newest Track by Track, Wiz Khalifa reveals that Pharrell got high as fuck through contact smoke, after Wiz and the gang hot-boxed the studio when it came time to record “Rise Above.” Pharrell produced the record and Wiz added TGOD’s Tuki Carter and his soon-to-be wife Amber Rose on there to give it a bit different spin than you’d expect.
