The combination of Ab-Soul x ScHoolboy Q might be our favorite Black Hippy one-two punch, but we can’t forget what Ab and Kendrick Lamar to the table (see: “Moscato“). This is a more introspective track from the two, as they speak on the light, no Common.

While out in Phoenix on a run with Bacardi Plus last weekend, K. Dot sat down with Yaya Martinez and talked about his feelings on 2Pac’s hologram performance at Coachella, and his emotions when Snoop Dogg passed him the torch for the west coast and any pressures that come along with it. He also talked about what inspired him to make “Cartoon & Cereal“, his upcoming album title & what it means, Black Hippy & more.

Meek Mill drops his highly anticipated release of Dream Chasers 2 which is the follow up to last year’s great body of work Dream Chasers. This time around the young MMG spitter has features from the likes of Drake, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Fabolous, Big Sean, French Montana and a few more big names. Kendrick Lamar Interview With Miss Info
While out Coachella, Miss Info had a nice talk with Kendrick Lamar as soon as he stepped off the stage to speak on the TDE movement, and the wildest thing he saw at the festival.
Kendrick emphasizes he still has to show and prove and the fact he hasn’t made it yet. Kendrick revealed he has a few tracks with A$AP Rocky in the stash, which were recorded on The Club Paradise Tour, so expect some of those tracks to surface at some point.

For Kendrick Lamar’s second weekend at Coachella, he talked to FUSE about how he felt when he saw the 2pac hologram, what it means to him to carry the flag for Compton, working with Meek Mill in the studio for Dream Chasers 2 and signing to Aftermath.
He also said the Black Hippie album might not be coming out any time soon.

Wiz Khalifa & Mac Miller Announce Tour With Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q & Chevy Woods
Welcome to the next tour that will be taking the East Coast by storm. The Wiz Khalifa & Mac Miller Under The Influence of Music tour, with special guests Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q & Chevy Woods. The tour kicks off June 26 in Cincinnati and continue through the end of July and into the beginning of August with the last stop in Detroit, MI.
More dates are to be added soon, but for now, check out the 9-date tour after the jump. Tickets will go on sale on April 20 through Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

There are so many collaborations going on nowadays, it’s hard to keep up with them. Many collabs occur on the low to give fans that element of surprise once they surface, but living in a technological era, some of these announcements make their way to Twitter as fans count down the days until they are released.
Here at OnSMASH, we are anticipating more than a few collaborations ourselves and we hope that if you weren’t aware of some of these, you could be as excited as we are about them. It’s been a great year so far and it’s only going to get better.

We got word that Kendrick Lamar would be dropping his new single today and without any delay, Big Boi at POWER 106 FM in Los Angeles got the green light to premiere. Although they could have taken it to the club, they decided to keep it chill and drop one for California. The record really keeps it true to Kendrick’s style. This will be the first of many song collaborations between the two. Get ready.
