A Salute To Dipset’s “Diplomatic Immunity”
If you ain’t know know you know that today is the 10th anniversary of Dipset’s classic album Diplomatic Immunity. The album is indeed timeless and still sounds as amazing as when we first heard it a decade ago.
To commemorate the occasion, Dipset will reunite for an exclusive show in NY at BB Kings tonight. Yes you read that correctly. A reunion of Juelz Santana, Cam’ron, Jim Jones and the whole gang all live on stage in New York City.
We decided to compile some our favorite cuts to pay homage to the Harlem crew we grew up on and influenced us. If you haven’t bumped the album in a minute, you should definitely take a trip down memory lane like if its High School again. Peep the playlist and make sure you listen to your fair share of Dipset all day to show your appreciation.
Dipset forever!
Ricky Blaze – Kill ‘Em (feat. Jim Jones)
Capo switches things up a little bit and teams up with dancehall artist, Ricky Blaze, for their latest offering to the e-streets. Blaze is working on his mixtape titled The Maestro and asked for a little help from Jim Jones for this record which we imagine you probably won’t hear until the clubs close, but either way it’s one to put in rotation.

The Diplomats To Reunite With 10-Year Anniversary “Diplomatic Immunity” Show
On the exact release date (March 25th) of their 2003 timeless classic “Diplomatic Immunity,” them Uptown boys will make their way down to Forty-Deuce to celebrate the albums 10-year anniversary at B.B. Kings for a special one night concert.
Although it’s being dubbed as a “one night only show,” we’re hopeful the most influential crew of the 2000s will reunite one more time for a new album now that they’ve ALL started 2013 with fresh material for the streets.
From starting “What’s Really Good,” to even them airbrush tees some of you would line up for at “Santana’s Town” with hood cats wearing pink with no shame, the Diplomats birthed some of the game in rap music that still lives today with the solo mixtape scene starting that with El Barrio’s own DJ Kay Slay in true Harlem U.S.A. trendsetter fashion.
For the upcoming show we can expect to see Killa Cam, Santana the Great, Capo, Freekey Zekey, Ruga Rell and many more surprises. This should be an epic show as longtime fans of the Dips can purchase your tickets HERE!
