Ghostface Killah – Twelve Reasons To Die: The Brown Tape [Album Stream]
It’s very rare for us to be excited about a remake of an album immediately preceding its release; but the Apollo Brown is adding his splash of beats to Ghostface’s vocals on “Twelve Reasons To Die” for The Brown Tape.
The original album has only been out for a week which we’ve had in our steady rotation playlist and have really amazed Tony Starks putting together a masterpiece concept album we weren’t expecting. Normally, we wouldn’t want anyone to touch a Wu-Tang project giving it an alternative blend, but who better than to provide a different take for one of their albums than the Mr. Apollo.
If you haven’t streamed or purchased the original version on iTunes yet, make sure to do that and support some quality hip-hop from Ghost. Enjoy the “Brown Tape” after the jump which will also be available in physical format on June 11th.

RZA & Ghostface Killah Play ‘Bubble Soccer’ With Jimmy Fallon & Gerald Butler
In a hilarious game of “Bubble Soccer,” RZA and Gerald Butler were pitted against Jimmy Fallon and Ghostface. After minutes of struggle, the two teams finally scored on each other and with less than a minute to go, Jimmy Fallon almost threw in the white flag and called it a day. Check out what team won in the clip above.
After the jump, the Wu-Tang Clan performed “Six Directions Of Boxing” in promo for the new RZA The Man With The Iron Fists film, due out in theaters November 2.
OS Flashback: Raekwon – Ice Cream (feat. Ghostface, Method Man & Cappadonna)
Man, The Chef had so many classics. We saw this week that Raekwon is going to be dropping part three of the purple tape in the near future, so we dug back into the first edition of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and had to take it back to one of our favorites.
It’s crazy to think OB4CL turned 17 years old this week too. Time flies.

Sheek Louch & Ghostface Killah – Shrooms (feat. Styles P)
These guys haven’t set a date for their collaborative project yet, but we can’t complain as long as they keep putting out the music. This Styles P-featured cut might be the best song we’ve heard from the duo thus far.

Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, The LOX – Wu Block

Producer: The RZA
Album: Wu-Block
Label: Wu-Tang / D-Block
iTunes: N/A
What do you get when you pair Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch? Wu-Block.
Sounds like a crazy combination and great for New York hip-hop. The two crews morphing together like megatron over some RZA production sounds like a stretch, but it’s real. Be prepared for a Wu-Block project from D-Block/Wu-Tang sooner than later.

DOOMSTARKS – Victory Laps
We heard the Madvillain remix to “Victory Laps” earlier this month on Rosenberg’s Hot 97 radio show, but you can pre-order the vinyl now, which will include the original version, instrumental and the remix to the track. They will also be selling limited edition cassette tapes for the single so be on the lookout for those.
This is the first single from the much anticipated Ghostface/MF DOOM album.

Ghostface – Meteor Hammer (feat. Action Bronson & Termanology)
There have been a lot of Action Bronson comparisons to Ghostface Killah. While it’s apparent they don’t rhyme the same, this first recorded collabo between the two should put any comparisons to rest. Wu-Tang’s Legendary Weapons is due out is due out July 26.

Holy Christ, this is the reason we made that DJ Khalil appreciation thread in the first place. And to think Rae and Ghost are on the track? It’s back to Wu season come March 8. Our ears still need to grace that Nas collaboration though.
