Things We Learned On The Club Paradise Tour
The heat was out (temperature wise) out in Concord, CA on Monday for the opening night of Drake’s second leg of the Club Paradise Tour. The shortys were dressed in next to nothing (WHITE GIRLS!!!….Gone Wild!), and as more and more fans arrived to Sleep Train Pavilion, the atmosphere started getting more hype the closer it got to show time.
We were in the building as well, to see Drake and company turn it up for The Bay, and we took visual note of everything we witnessed. For those who haven’t been to Club Paradise yet and are planning to, here is a few things we learned throughout the course of the evening that you should expect at the show.

Drake’s Explains Latest Club Paradise Tour & Teases OVO Fest
The second leg of the Club Paradise Tour kicked off in the U.S. yesterday in Concord, CA (it’s in Irvine, CA tonight) and for those who weren’t quite familiar yet, Drake explained to MTV why he chose the line-up he did this go around (Waka Flocka, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, J. Cole, French Montana). He also spoke on his absence on the road from a couple of cities he loves, mainly Houston and Atlanta, which will see Drake on this portion of the tour.
He also teased a little bit and talked the upcoming 2012 OVO Fest, saying he’s going to “step it up a notch” from past surprise guests, and calls this year’s line-up a musical mash-up. What can possibly top Eminem, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Rick Ross and Nas?
Shit should be crazy!

There are so many collaborations going on nowadays, it’s hard to keep up with them. Many collabs occur on the low to give fans that element of surprise once they surface, but living in a technological era, some of these announcements make their way to Twitter as fans count down the days until they are released.
Here at OnSMASH, we are anticipating more than a few collaborations ourselves and we hope that if you weren’t aware of some of these, you could be as excited as we are about them. It’s been a great year so far and it’s only going to get better.
