Crooked I has been relatively quiet after a monstrous 2013 him and the rest of Slaughterhouse had. But that changed as he stopped by The Wake Up Show with King Tech and Sway and does as the West Coaster does best. Push play up top as he puts the battery in his back and his bars tap dance over the beat.
With Tha Dogg Pound staying active, it’s no surprise we get Kurupt Young Gotti’s first project in nearly 2 years with the DJ Nik Bean hosted mixtape, “Money, Bitches, Power.” The mixtape has features from Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Too Shor E-40, Ty $, Crooked I, Showoff, Joe Moses, Louiie B, Gorilla Zoe, Masta Killa, Trensetta, EB3, Joe Moses, RBX, The Rejects, L1z and Yung JR. Check after the jump to view the 23-track tracklistings along with download links ready.
Crooked I is C.O.B. or die and if you didn’t know by now, this record should verify the fact. Taking over Young Chop’s “Us” instrumental and declares his squad. No word as to what Crooked I is working on now but word has spread that Slaughterhouse is getting back in the studio this month for their return to onslaught. Stay tuned.
This record from Crooked I found it’s way on Chris Paul and LowKey’s The Mission mixtape that dropped last week, but Crook’s been holding onto this record for quite sometime. Recorded back in 2005 and originally set to appear on his B.O.S.S. album, Crooked I grabs hold of a beat produced by Komplex and west coasts all over the record.

Now that Slaughterhouse has returned home from a longer summer/fall of touring, Crooked Letter I puts out this freestyle over Miguel’s “Adorn,” as a tribute to some of hip-hop’s most beloved artist. In this track, C speaks on the current state of music stating it’s not where it once was and has plans to bring back some dignity to the genre while paying homage to legends like Biggie and Pac for their efforts in the process.

OS REWIND: Slaughterhouse “welcome to: OUR HOUSE” Release Week
In light of the events late last week, Fat Joe adds a very sentimental verse on the Slaugherhouse “Goodbye” record in dedication to the late Chris Lighty. Joel Ortiz also adds a new verse in remembrance to the late Hip-Hop mogul as well.
Rest In Peace, Chris.
The highly-anticipated Slaughterhouse Gangsta Grillz debut mixtape entitled “On The House” is finally here which serves as an appetizer for their upcoming album “welcome to: Our House”. This 13-track DJ Drama themed mixtape features guest appearances from Freeway, K-Young, and SLV.

Slaughterhouse gives us a shit load of truths about a bunch of truth for damn near 15 minutes long over Rozay’s No I.D. produced banger “Tears Of Joy.” Some people just got some things to get off their chest. This is off their upcoming Gangsta Grillz project On The House with DJ Drama coming soon. Also the album welcome to: OUR HOUSE will be out on August 28th!
Complex Magazine put out a “Top 30 Rappers In Their 30′s” list, and several rappers weren’t too happy with their ranking. So Its The Real decided to get the opinion of Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden and Royce Da 5’9″ made the cut, but low on the rankings) about the list.
Slaughterhouse drop off a new one from their upcoming Gangsta Grillz On The House project. “See Dead People” has all 4 memebers going strong over Lloyd Banks “1, 2, 3 Grind” beat that AraabMUZIK produced on The Cold Corner 2 project. Nothing but bars as they murder it and give you back the beat back killed for. Look out for that On The House and that welcome to: OUR HOUSE album dropping on August 28th.
OS REWIND: Slaughterhouse – Weight Scale
Good news for Slaughterhouse fans. Before the welcome to: OUR HOUSE is released, Slaughterhouse has linked up with DJ Drama for a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. Taking it to the lyrical slaughter they’re so known for, they rip Nas’ “Nasty” for the first preview.
Who do you think got the best verse on here?
