Those of you who were waiting on the Rich Gang album later this month will have to hold out a little bit longer. Today it was announced that the album will now be released on July 23 instead of June 25. No worries though as Birdman decided to hold over the fans by dropping the official artwork for the album. So sit back and blast “Tapout” on repeat while you wait for the release.
After waiting 5 long years Birdman & Rick Ross finally deliver their highly anticipated mixtape The H Vol. 1. The project has been sitting on ice for quite some time and many thought it would never be released, but Stunna and Rozay finally gave the people what they wanted. Filled with 11 mostly unheard tracks this tape is sure to be on repeat for quite some time.

August Alsina has made quite a name for himself of late with his signing to Def Jam and some very strong releases. One of his standout tracks, “I Luv This Shit,” gets the official g-mix today from none other and Birdman. As expected Stunna swag talks his way to a dope ass verse on this cut. Expect a ton more big things from August in the near future.
OS REWIND: August Alsina – The Product 2 [Mixtape]
With Rick Ross & Birdman’s collaborative project The H finally ready to drop next Thursday, they give the go ahead to Derrick G to drop the first single “Pop That Pussy.” This however is not unheard though, as it leaked back in the day on an unofficial mixtape. It is refreshing to hear both spitting like this again, and we hope that the rest of the music from the mixtape is as hot as this.
It’s hard to say no when you’re put on the spot like that, but Birdman has enough money to donate without hurting his bankroll. During Swizz Beatz Annual Bronx Charter School for the Arts fundraiser, Swizzy called Baby to see if he would make a donation for a good cause and made it happen. Find out how much he donated after the jump.

OS REWIND: Birdman & Lil Wayne Discuss Big Tymers Album On “RapFix Live”
Last week the internet was sent ablaze when Birdman & Lil Wayne revealed that they were making a new Big Tymers album with Drake instead of Mannie Fresh. So it was only right that MTV reached out to Mannie to see what he thought about the possible album. Basically Mannie breaks it down in a very respectful way saying that both Drake and Wayne are great artist’s but that album simply would not be a Big Tymers album.

The visuals are still pouring in week after week. But that just means everyone is trying to throw their hat in the ring and give the people what they want. This week, we saw a good amount of R&B and alternative make their way into the Top 10 countdown, but don’t worry because we still kept it live with that fire for the streets.
Spitta outshined everyone, dropping 3 videos this week, but Wiz Khalifa was not far behind, making cameos in two and giving us one off Live In Concert. Even Kreayshawn snuck into the mix, linking up with The HBK Gang to direct a video.
Unfortunately, John Legend’s “Who Do We Think We Are” had to be omitted because YouTube removed it for violating terms of service. We still see you, J!

After Lil Wayne got the boot from Epic Records on the “Karate Chop” remix after the Emmett Till controversy (stemming from the lyrics in his verse), Future goes out and gets some Rich Gang members for the remix. Now added to the mix, Birdman, Rozay and French, you know, that YMCMB x MMG tapout connect.
MTV’s RapFix Live made a special trip down to Miami this week to interview Birdman, Lil Wayne and other members of YMCMB. During Sway’s convo with the two members of Rich Gang, the possibility of the new Big Tymers album came up. Though Birdman said they are going to do it, he also made very clear that the lineup would be him, Wayne and Drake with no Mannie Fresh involved. Sort of a weird way to think of a Big Tymers album, but regardless we can’t wait for it.

OS REWIND: Rich Gang – Tapout [Music Video]
It doesn’t appear as if Lil Wayne is leaving the rap game anytime soon, as this weekend he spoke with MTV about some future projects. Wayne clarified that Tha Carter V will indeed be the last album he does, though he said don’t expect that soon as he wants to knock out some other albums such as Like Father, Like Son 2 featuring Birdman. The interview took an interesting turn when Weezy said he wants to do a Big Tymers renunion album but with Drake added to the mix. We can’t even fathom the levels of awesome that album would be.

Ace Hood – Bugatti (Remix) (feat. Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Meek Mill, French Montana, 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled & Birdman)
Now this is a remix. Ace Hood recruits just about everyone in the rap game for his highly-anticipated remix to his smash single “Bugatti.” We can’t even lie and say that this version isn’t hot though, as T.I. & Meek absolutely went ham on this. Ace Hood’s new album Trials & Tribulations will be in stores on July 16.

Lowkey, Jae Millz has been arguably the most consistent rapper out of the Young Money camp which is saying a lot for one of the few artists in the conglomerate without a major album release out yet. He’s gearing up his long-awaited debut album “Nothing Is Promised” with another mixtape to add to your collection. While we just got a taste of what he was cooking in the studio on “Dead Presidets 2,” the Most Hated emcee double’s up for 2013 with the “Property Of Potentness 2.” The project has features from production from Jae Millz himself with appearance by Birdman, Gucci Mane, Harry Fraud, Smoke DZA to name a few. Check after the jump to view the complete 14-track traclistings along with a download link ready.
OS REWIND: Jae Millz – The God [Music Video]
Things are real good around the YMCMB and We The Best campe these days, as a new video drops today where Birdman is presenting DJ Khaled with a gold plaque for his single “Take It To The Head.” The two seem to be enjoying themselves in the studio as they discuss business over some good weed and plenty of bottles.

OS REWIND: DJ Khaled – No New Friends [The Movie]
Retaining his crown as the wealthiest hip-hop artist alive, P. Diddy is number 1 once again, topping the 2013 list of rappers with the largest bank accounts. With his record label Bad Boy Records releasing MGK’s “Lace Up” and the long-awaited debut album from French Montana “Excuse My French”, the 20+ year vet has remained one of the top heavyweights in the industry. The face of the popular Ciroc vodka brand, has been a cash-cow over the past few years.
1. Sean “Diddy” Combs ($580 million)
2. Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter ($475 million)
3. Andre “Dr. Dre” Young ($350 million)
4. Bryan “Birdman” Williams ($150 million)
5. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson ($125 million)
Landing in at number 2 was the Jiggman, who had a successful year touring the world with Kanye West and Hit-Boy, continuing their “Niggas In Paris” wave from 2011 into 2012, as well as Jay’s run for the official opening of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. An interesting note is the $80 million dollar increase Dr. Dre acquired this year in comparison to last year, obviously due to his Beats By Dre headphone collection as well as the first album under Aftermath in over 2 years, Kendrick Lamar’s debut opus, “good kid, m.A.A.d city.”
