Big K.R.I.T. – KING Pt. 3

bigkrit

kingpt3

After hearing J. Cole tackle the track on Truly Yours, Big K.R.I.T. is the next to be inspired by the No I.D. production. On “KING Pt. 3,” Krizzle uses the instrumental to air out some stuff that he’s had marinating in his mind lately and lets his heart do the talking. You know the young king is always coming on his honest shit when the beat drops.

From Big K.R.I.T. to the fans. Pay attention.

As part the Big Mix competition, VIBE and McDonald’s teamed up to find by far the most impressive beats from upcoming music producers that truly deserve to get their name out into the industry. The winner happened to be Michigan natives Foreign Allegiance, who were given the opportunity to work with Big K.R.I.T. on a track titled “What You Know About It.” There’s no doubt whether they gave the rapper a chance to shine on the record, and we should expect to hear more from them in plenty of future releases.

In the clip above, we see Ludacris joining him on stage in Seattle for a rare live performance of Country Shit (Remix),” which the crowd was not expecting. K.R.I.T. speaks on his most recent release King Remembered In Time and jumps into discussing if music is still a challenge for him at this moment.

He also goes into speaking on working with producers for his sophomore album as opposed to only using his own beats and overworking himself. The clip closes out with K.R.I.T. touching on the possibility of a collaborative project with Wiz Khalifa and what happened to his “I Got This (Remix).” Wwatch the full interview after the jump.

DeLorean keeps it in the South with his latest track “Whip” featuring none other than Big K.R.I.T. The combination of these two just sounds so right together on a track that it begs for more in the future. They talk that Southern slang on this cut that is about their love of their rides. DeLorean’s upcoming project Grace is on the way.

It’s been a while since Big K.R.I.T. released his last full project, but at the rate of music he has put out over the years, there’s definitely no complaints on our side. With the recent release of the Air Jordan XX8, the Kingz of the Underground (always R.I.P. Pimp C), Bun B and Big K.R.I.T. unite and pay homage to legacy of J’s and influence the sneaks had on their life growing up with “Check The Sign.” Bun B and K.R.I.T. discuss their favorite Jordan’s wearing to floss and stunt in them skreets from back in the day to even present day, including Bun citing wearing them on the street classic “Ridin’ Dirty.”
