Bobby Ray talked about his humble beginnings and how he has been able to crossover so well in music, his inspiration to complete his upcoming album Underground Luxury and what people can expect from the album, him branching out and possibly doing movies, and much more. EarDrummers! Ciara’s “Body Party” has literally become one of the hottest singles all year and has stayed in our playlist since its release in March. The song is so popular, that now we have an official remix featuring Future adding more vocals than previously seen in the original and B.o.B. dropping by a quick 16. Mike WiLL Made It switches up the drum pattern and sound to mirror the classic Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo” than it already did prior to the remix. Hustle Gang’s official mixtape “G.D.O.D: The Introduction” is nearing its release next week, as we get a remix to B.o.B and Mike WiLL Made It’s “We Still In This Bitch.” The original featuring the Kang T.I. and Mr. Stay TRiPPY, Juicy J has been one of the biggest bangers of the year, but decided one version wasn’t enough. For the remix we see fellow Grand Hustle member Young Dro joining affiliates Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti to add some extra bars to the track. Do remember the “G.D.O.D.” mixtape touches down this Tuesday, May 7th; as you can listen to this track after the jump.

The L.A. sound is quickly penetrating rap, as B.o.B is the next to adopt it in his latest single “Headband” with 2 Chainz. The DJ Mustard produced beat is definitely that strip club ready soundtrack, especially since he’s talking about shortys dancing in the mirror and dropping that ass down. 2 Chainz floats all over this one.

T.I. Speaks On New Version Of “Memories Back Then” Without Gotye Sample
While on the set of his new music video for “Memories Back Then,” T.I. took some time to talk to MTV about the history of the record. The original version of the song featured a sample from Gotye’s tremendously huge single “Somebody I Used To Know” but couldn’t be used by TIP due to clearance issues.
He felt that the record, which also features Kendrick Lamar and B.o.B, was so hot that it needed to be heard by the people. To accomodate this they reworked the production and took out the sample. This is great news, as now TIP and the gang are shooting a video and gearing to push the track as a single. Check out the full interview above.

Back in December, T.I. gave the go ahead for Sway In The Morning to play a brand new track that didn’t manage to make the final tracklist for the Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head album. Now we get to hear “Memories Back Then” in its perfect quality, with exclusive features from Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B and Kris Stephens. By listening to the cut, it’s evident that it could have easily made his eighth studio release. Either way, each rapper sets the standard for the rest of the industry, with the addition of some stunning vocals from Kris Stephens.

B.o.B Interview With DJ Whoo Kid
B.o.B was the next artist to visit DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle radio show on Sirius Shade 45. In the video, Bobby discusses dropping albums the same year with T.I. as the two have plans to release a collaborative album this year titled “The Man and the Martian.” B.o.B. went on to talk about T.I.P. always wanting a complete body of work for albums the Grand Hustle click releases as they’re never really focused on getting features too much outside of the camp. In closing, Bobby broke the news of the upcoming Hustle Gang album we can look forward to in 2013.

MTV caught up with B.o.B on the red carpet at the Z100 Jingle Ball and he dropped the bomb, revealing he is working on a new Rock EP. Longtime fans of Bobby Ray should be familiar with the fact he plays the guitar and has been performing with his band, and now he’s ready to take listeners to where his sound is evolving to.
“I’ve been holding back so much rock for so long. I have been performing with my band for a while, so I guess this is a real good canvas for me to paint on. No one’s really expecting anything so I can do what I want to do.”
Stay tuned for both of these projects to drop some time in 2013.
