Back for a third time , Peter Bailey sits down with Big Sean for another episode of NBC’s NiteCap. Sean is expected to have quite the year ahead of him after closing out last year with a bang that was his mixtape Detroit. And while no release date is set in stone, his sophmore album Hall Of Fame is said to have been complete with Sean just adding the final touches to it.

When “Get By” was first released in 2002, some thought Talib Kweli wouldn’t be a household name. In fact, some thought he was riding the coattail of a culture created by Yasiin Bey (Mos Def). 11 years later, well, Talib has stood the test of time and created his own lane.
Up top, Talib Kweli talks about the day Kanye West walked in the room with a handful of beats and what it was about “Get By” that caught his attention and ultimately made him buy all the beats on the spot. Originally planned to be used for Mariah Carey, “Get By” would soon be the hit-single Talib Kweli needed to push his solo artistry to the masses.
Noisey grabbed ahold of Tyler, The Creator for the afternoon to spend some quality time with his fans. After a quick paintball match, he answered a handful of questions ranging from why he doesn’t like getting his water refilled at restaurants, his opinion on English bacon, his favorite cartoon, and he even gets a few gifts from a fan. In the next episode of J. Cole’s new “Born Sinner” series, his good friend Kendrick Lamar is featured. In episode one, we saw Cole’s mother Kay Cole share some of her story raising Jermaine, but now TDE emcee is up to share his upbringings in hip-hop. Kendrick opened up being born into the genre with his father playing Big Daddy Kane after birth on his way back home. As a kid, Kendrick caught on to rap at an early age noticing artist writing in journals for their current and past experiences growing up in inner-city communities.
In a recent conversation with Erykah Badu, she asked K. Dot what was his fulfillment out of music. He was stuck with words for a few moments, which Badu said she still hasn’t found what she’s looking for hoping he wouldn’t follow in her path. Kweli’s in the last stages of gearing up for the release with having to shoot two videos being “Human Mic” and “Hamster Wheel” which he goes on to explain the narrative and premise behind both songs. He also has a Sirius interview and set that same night as well.

It looks like Jack Bauer still has time left to save the world once again, as FOX has just put the order in for a new series of 24 set to return Summer 2014. Not many details have been revealed of the announcement made this morning, but it will be a 12-episode series to represent 24 hours and the series will take place many years after the events of the last season finale.
With all the familiar faces returning next summer, it’s safe to say they’ll be keeping you on the edge of your seat as they do best.
The day all fans of the critically acclaimed series Arrested Development are all looking forward too is getting closer and closer. Yes that is right the show will return for it’s long-awaited fourth season on May 26, and will be exclusively streamed on Netflix. In the just released trailer we see the entire gang back at it, and we can’t even lie it looks hilarious.

It is no secret that Kanye West is gearing up to drop some new music on the world very shortly. From the mysterious tweet with the simple date of June 18, to his upcoming return to SNL for a performance, it would be no surprise if his new single dropped in the coming days or maybe even hours. As how it usually happens, tonight some video was uploaded of Hudson Mohawke playing some brand new Ye during his set.
At this time we are not quite sure what the title of the new song or songs are, but it does sound rather good. Kanye has some snapping lines that can’t help but excite his swarm of fans. The quality is not perfect but you can still make out Ye’s new verses pretty well.
