Throwback Thursday: Brucie B – Live From The Harlem Rooftop [Mixtape]
That Ice Cube “Straight Outta LA” documentary about the Raiders was moving. So much that Ice Cube & N.W.A. has been all that’s been playing ever since. Time to keep it in the 80′s though with this edition of OS x Miss Info’s Throwback Thursday’s.
This Brucie B tape takes it back to the essence of everything we call hip-hop though. It’s always dope to go back and hear how it all started. Live From The Harlem Rooftop dates back to 1987 and we’re sure this is the way the party’s in uptown were rocking back then. Expect classic after classic with The World Famous Brucie B on the 1′s and 2′s. Peace to HOM.

Throwback Thursdays: DJ S&S – Something For That Ass 3 [Mixtape]
Earlier this week WESTCHEDDAR posted some old tapes on their blog, which included some old Throwback Thursday drops we did last year. He also had a video with DJ S&S that had him speaking about his favorite tapes and the process he would go through to drop tapes and how he would get records before anybody else. He also touches on the subject on why got him out the game.
You can check the site for more classic mixtapes, and Something For That Ass 3 (The Final Chapter) after the jump. Props to WESTCHEDDAR for the the links.
Throwback Thursdays: Ron G – Dead Presidentz [Mixtape]
Last week we started the Throwback Thursday year with Kid Capri. This week, OS x Miss Info bring you a classic from Ron G. Dead Presidentz showcases everyone from 2pac, Redman, Lost Boyz, MC Lyte, GZA and even though there’s only one blend from the youngest in charge, 1996 was a classic year in hip-hop. Sit back and take a glimpse into time.
If anyone has requests or suggestions for future Throwback Thursday drops, hit the comments.
Throwback Thursdays: Kid Capri – Old School Pt. 3 [Mixtape]
Since we can’t let go of the past and always bring ourselves to listen to old stuff on the regular (am I the only one that does that?), we figured Throwback Thursdays with MissInfo should be back in full effect starting in the new year. We’re taking this one all the way back to the old school too. Old School Pt. 3 features Kool Moe Dee, Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Doug E Fresh and all the pioneers who birthed this hip-hop shit brought to you by Kid Capri.
OS: Throwback Thursday v19.0
We’re up to number in 19 in these not so consecutive Throwback Thursday’s brought to you by OnSMASH & MissInfo. This one requires a bit of a late pass considering the Vibe Top 50 list was dropped a few weeks ago, and I wanted it to coincide with that… but regardless, it’s another classic tape. You can find Tony Touch’s Power Cypha (50 MC’s) mixtape [Disc 1] after the jump.
