Ted Smooth is out here in a lane of his own, putting a ’90s feel to these brand spanking new records. For his next hat trick, Ted takes Chris Brown’s “Fine China” UPTOWN with a hint of Michael Jackson flavor. Breezy might as well just remix this officially, get Tyga on the verse, change the hook to fit the melody of it and make the cypher complete.
Are you rocking with it better than the original?
For everyone out there who is still celebrating 4/20 a month later, Tim Stacks has the perfect soundtrack for you to ride to. “Light It” is faster pace than we were expecting but once you got that good shit rolled, packed and lit, you’ll float to it.
Produced by Geez.

Sacramento’s own C Plus is amped, because his new album L.O.C.A.L. (Loyalty Over Cash And Luxury) is on the way this June. To get his fans prepared, he will be dropping three teasers along with three tracks in the course of the next few weeks. The video teaser will contain the original samples that were used, to accompany the songs from the album.
The first comes from Blackstreet, for their classic, “Deep.”
Produced by REL.
We hope you’ve been paying as much attention to Disclosure like we have. It seems like every single they’ve put out thus far has made an impact, spawning plenty of remixes and reworks of the track (see: acoustic performances from featured guests).
The London brothers premiered a new track on Zane Lowe earlier, live in session at BBC’s Maida Vale studios. “F For You” is a bit more funky and slower tempo than previous singles, but still spacy enough to get that radio love. Listen to it below.
Their upcoming album Settle, is out worldwide on June 4.
The return of The Weeknd? It seems like it, because after previewing a new track a few days ago, he is back with another new offering tonight. “Kiss Land” doesn’t really sound like what we’d expect from Abel, considering the production is a little rough, even with the switch up into the full version of “John Carpenter.” The content is still there, though.
Abel is kind of missing ILLANGELO and Doc McKinney huh?

Only a day after the Memphis Grizzlies took a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Western Conference favorites, OKC Thunder, DJ Paul and Drumma Boy drop a theme song for the Grizz, titled “We Don’t Bluff.” The phrase has been a staple throughout the course of their season, and as you can see in the video, the city of Memphis has really embraced and adopted the term, putting it in their game day towels.
Will they play this in the stadium tomorrow? They better, so Randolph and Gasol can get to work! They’re one game away from the Western Conference championship game.
In Al Lindstrom’s “On The Road” series, Emilio Sparks jumps in the Escalade with Wiz Khalifa as they have a conversation about an array of topics. From Khalifa Kush and how it was cultivated to things that were birthed in Pittsburgh (Heinz, we see you!), the state of music and working with 50 Cent in the future.
They also chopped it up about the wedding day in the Fall and how Amber Rose wants to get right for their special day. Watch their entire convo after the jump.

Nothing Daft Punk does is conventional or traditional, so it shouldn’t surprise you how they reveal their vinyl packaging through this clip. While on a spaceship, the band receives a package with the project inside, as they flip through the back and inside to find the record to put on. Then they give us a small snippet of the first track on the album.
It just makes you want to hear more, right? Peep what it’s sounding like after the jump.

Meet MeezY, a young producer coming out of Inglewood, CA. He’s just getting started, but he’s got a few beats up on his souncloud, trying to perfect the craft.
Let us know what you think of his “Party” instrumental below.
Continuing with their On Acid! series (where they give people acid and make them go to events), VICE sends Dan Meyers to a Monster Truck rally in Hartford, CT for the first time. He got ballsy and took two tabs, and quickly realized he underestimated the potency of the drug. By the time the younger looking George Costanza got to the event, he was tripping balls and having a bad trip from the sounds of the trucks.
Then he had to interview people (including one of the drivers) when he already wanted to go home, and it got all bad for him. He might be the winner of the most awkward interviewer of 2013, but watching it all go down was quite hilarious.
Their episode at the Westminster Dog Show was fucking COMEDY too.
The visuals are still pouring in week after week. But that just means everyone is trying to throw their hat in the ring and give the people what they want. This week, we saw a good amount of R&B and alternative make their way into the Top 10 countdown, but don’t worry because we still kept it live with that fire for the streets.
Spitta outshined everyone, dropping 3 videos this week, but Wiz Khalifa was not far behind, making cameos in two and giving us one off Live In Concert. Even Kreayshawn snuck into the mix, linking up with The HBK Gang to direct a video.
Unfortunately, John Legend’s “Who Do We Think We Are” had to be omitted because YouTube removed it for violating terms of service. We still see you, J!

Switching it up from the rap for a second, UK’s own Katy B released a new track aiming straight for the radio with “What Love Is Made Of.” The uptempo single will impact radio this July, but BBC Radio 1′s own Annie Mac got the go-ahead to world premiere it on her show. It definitely has that Pop bounce, but sort-of a ’90s vibe to it too.
Katy is set to release the follow up to On A Mission, this Fall.
