Jennifer Aniston as a stripper? Welcome to We’re the Millers, a comedy starring Jason Sudeikis, which has a peculiar plot. Sudeikis plays a small time drug dealer that strikes a lucrative deal, but he’s got to smuggle a “smidgen” of marijuana across Mexico borders.
To do so, he’s hired Aniston (a cheap stripper), a nerd kid from his building and a rebel teenage girl from around the way to turn into an average family that no one will suspect trafficking drugs into the U.S. From the looks of it, We’re The Millers is going to be a comedy to check when it hits theaters nationwide on August 9.
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
To promote his latest film, Fast & The Furious 6, Ludacris stopped by Chelsea Lately to talk cars and charities. Chelsea actually asked him about his 1993 Acura Legend and why he still drives it, and what his connection to Jane Fonda is.
Check out their funny conversation below.
After her lecture at Red Bull Music Academy in New York, OKPTV caught up with Erykah Badu for a short conversation about her role on They Die By Dawn movie, when we can expect a new album and how she linked with Janelle Monáe on “Q.U.E.E.N.” and what it was working with Thundercat. The most interesting part is her hilarious commentary about her infamous “Window Seat” video from the Red Bull lecture.
Let Erykah hypnotize you like she did these rappers, in the interview below.
To commemorate next week’s Snoop Lion One Life To Live week-long takeover (specifically on on May 28th, 30th, June 4th and June 6th), the legendary soap opera series has released their new theme song featuring soul singer IZA and Uncle Snoop.
As a standalone track, IZA and Snoop really channeled that ’90s feel-good sound. We feel a little awkward about this being the One Life To Live theme song, though.

With Greece on the brink of economic collapse, many of its populous is turning to new ways of escape, mainly a new drug called Sisa. With the unemployment rate at 27% and rising, many people in Athens have become addicts through more inexpensive methods, like Sisa. Sisa is a cheap version of crystal meth, cut with ingredients that include battery acid (WTF?) and engine oil. The cost to get high? A whopping 1 euro.
Only one day after the Black Hippy crew dropped their bars over the Rocko single, Trinidad Jame$ comes through with his own remix. We’re going to take a shot in the dark and say this won’t be the last of the “U.O.E.N.O.” remixes, but this one’s for ATL.
Somebody combine this with the 2 Chainz version for the “Atlanta Remix.”

It probably came as a surprise to most, but Kendrick Lamar’s message in his “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” video was not subtle at all (see: “Death To Molly”). In his sit down with Sway for MTV, Kendrick explains that this is one of the terms that needs to be put to rest because it’s corny and waters down to culture. He goes on to mention that some rappers out there might rap about molly, but don’t really live that lifestyle.
Some trends he approved of that rap spawned? Jerseys and button ups.
If you peeped that Black Hippy “U.O.E.N.O.” remix yesterday, ScHoolboy Q had a little something to say about molly in his verse too.

We haven’t really sat down with the Daft Punk album like we should have but after giving the Japanese-only release “Horizon,” we might have to tonight. The way it starts, , very spacy and slow, gives you that Pink Floyd I Wish You Were Here album feel. By the time the drums hit, the tune gets a bit muffled and more vintage. It really sounds like an outro or the end of a movie that you float away to on a cloud.
Do remember, Random Access Memories is out worldwide now.

We’ve been anticipating Kendrick Lamar’s verse for “U.O.E.N.O.” for a few weeks now, and we thought it was distant memory. That is, until now. To raise awareness for the upcoming good kid m.A.A.d city world tour, the entire Black Hippy crew jumps on the Rocko street banger, right after a little PSA from the team and Mac Miller.

If you watched the documentary we posted about a month ago, and live in the New York/Tri-State are, the NYPD’s “Stop-And-Frisk” policy should be very familiar to you. To shed more light on what’s going on in the Floyd v. City of New York trial and raise awareness on the topic, the artist formerly known as Mos Def has issued a public service announcement, “Don’t Tread On Me,” for people to listen to.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!

To commemorate his upcoming Zamrock show in San Francisco next month, the elusive Madlib drops a rare, limited edition Rock Konducta white label 45. One of the two tracks that are gonna be on the vinyl 7″ EP release is “The Mad March,” a funky jazz tune. If you want one of 300 copies of the EP, your best bet is to show up early to the show.
Where’s that collaborative album with Freddie Gibbs, though? We need that.

If you’re wondering who Khyati is, she is the fan that accidentally got a roundhouse kick from Miguel during the Billboard Music Awards. After the performance, Billboard caught up with the two (Kat with her ice pack on the elbow and very giddy), to ask them about the incident. She seemed pretty thrilled, even if had to happen under those circumstances and couldn’t wait to see Miguel make it up to her. “I adorn him,” she said.
Check out the semi-awkward interview after the jump.
We hope people didn’t sleep on T.I.’s Trouble Man album because he had some bangers on there. One of the more feel-good records from the project is the Cee-Lo Green-featured “Hello,” which now gets a visual. The two hit the middle of the desert for this one, and finds TIP on a journey that he could never imagine.

Bay Area legend E-40 is taking it back to the club again and “Ripped” sounds like something California will have on TILT. Considering Lil Jon makes it known that this is not something to listen to or party while being sober (“ripped, blitzed, hammered, fucked uuup” is 75% of the hook), you can guarantee the radio and clubs across CA will throw this on for the TURN UP. Especially with Memorial Day weekend creeping up.
The beat also has undertones very similar to Snoop Dogg’s classic “Lay Low” single, which is a staple out on the West Coast.
