Legendary member of the Beat Junkies crew, DJ Rhettmatic is the next artist featured on FUSE’s “Crate Diggers” to explore his vinyl record collection and give us stories behind his collection. In the episode, DJ Rhettmatic discusses how he found out about hip-hop in 1982 with friends in schools as they would create Bean Junkies in Los Angeles.

He goes through his personal collection of favorite records including a rare promotional copy of Prince’s “The Family.” Rhettmatic also touches on growing up a “geek” wearing Green Lantern rings with his Bean Junkie collective crew.
