As one of the most flamboyant athletes to EVER step into a boxing ring, last year the likeable Adrien Broner rose to boxing fame winning the WBC Lightweight title and even becoming the number one lightweight in the world. Using an orthodox stance in his fighting style he’s been compared to Floyd Mayweather Jr, which is no shock. Although having no major fights in his career, he’s the 23 year old Broner is 25-0 in the squared circle with 21 coming via knockout.
Here’s a quick look at his brief 4-year history in the ring as HBO sports have put together a video package of his meteoric rise with the greatest hits he’s displayed thus far. His next fight is scheduled for February 16th as he’ll defend his WBC Lightweight title against British and EBU lightweight champion, Gavin Rees (37-1-1).
