Which Funkmaster Flex Freestyle Did Kendrick Lamar Spazz Out On The Hardest?
Kendrick Lamar just got back from rocking the stage in Europe and touched down in New York in anticipation for his debut on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but its not official unless you visit Funkmaster Flex and spit bars for his show. Three to be exact.
For the first instrumental to warm up to, Flex gave K Dot Prodigy’s “Keep It Thoro” to exercise to, then he flipped it to some classic DJ Premier and Nas, until the Compton native closed out the third of the freestyles over some timeless Wu.
Peep the three videos below.

Fabolous Addresses “So NY” Line About Lil Wayne, Says All Is Good Between The Two
MTV.com news recently caught up with Brooklyn’s own Fabolous to get his take on Lil Wayne flat out saying “I don’t like New York.” Loso seemed to understand where Tunechi was coming from with his legal situation and not taking it serious saying,
‘I took what he was saying and tried to put some pride back into New York,’ Fab says of recording ‘So NY.’
The purpose of his “So NY” record was to motivate the city as he closed out saying the two recently ran into each other at Club LIV nightclub in South Beach as the two cleared the air to make sure there was no confusion with Tunechi taking the initiative to come over and say what up and kept it moving. Stay tuned for his upcoming sixth studio album “Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power” coming soon.

NBA All-Star Starters & Reserves Announced

Houston’s Not The Only Problem We Have, As We Indeed Have A Big Snub From OAK-Town.
Earlier tonight, we finally got the results of who each coach from around the league would pick to participate in this year’s All-Star game. Last week we were shown the starters which Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade made their 9th all-star appearance with Kevin Garnett grabbing his 15th to highlight the east.
In the West, Kobe Bryant nabbed his 15 straight appearance with teammate Dwight Howard voted in by fan vote and their in-house rivals Chris Paul and Blake Griffin getting tap for starting duties. For the Western reserves, James Harden of the all-star game hometown Houston Rockets will be making his first ever appearance with David Lee, Zach Randolph and LaMarcus Aldridge all making their second appearance and the big fundamental Tim Duncan getting his 14th selection.
Last but not least; for the East reserves, Kyrie Irving, Jrue Holiday, Tyson Chandler, Joakim Noah and Paul George were all selected to their first ever all-star game with Luol Deng getting his second appearance and Chris Bosh getting his 8th selection giving Miami the most players at 3. There’s obviously a big snub in the picture shown above with Stephen Curry, but you can check after the jump to view the complete list of starters and reserves for both conferences.

Listen to the spirit guide and A$AP boss, in his candid interview above.

Vado Interview With The Breakfast Club
Vado was the next artist to stop by “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show,” The Breakfast Club. In this interview, sits down to discuss his resolutions of the year. After releasing Slime Flu 3, he’s back on the radar, as he leaves Interscope to pursue an even bigger route. Cam’ron refuses to hold Vado back to greatness and the Dipset/UN affiliate is looking to make his way to South Beach, and DJ Khaled’s We the Best imprint.
It could be a great move for Vado, and might prove to create an even bigger buzz for him. He’s still a free agent until the ink is dry, so for now, its bidding war. He also speaks on upcoming collabs with Fab and other artists and what beats are knocking in the clubs. The Southern sound is everywhere, but Vado misses New York Hip Hop, so he’s on a mission to bring it back.

John Hart – Get It Girl (feat. Problem)
Get ready to take it to the club, as Compton and The Bay connect on “Get It Girl.” John Hart and Problem waste no time letting us know the vibe of the song, considering the fact that we can hear the bass drop before the hook does. California should have this one on tilt, as long as the DJ’s bang this one in the club full of drunken shortys.
John Hart’s Heart 2 Hart mixtape is due out soon.

“Resident Evil Revelations” Debut Console Trailer
Game: Resident Evil: Revelations
Release: May 21, 2013
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Microsoft Windows
Publisher: Capcom
Developer: Capcom / Tose
Arguably my favorite game in the Resident Evil series behind Resident Evil 2, last year saw the Nintendo 3DS version of Resident Evil Revelations as this year the game will be repackaged in High-Definition for PC and Console games later this spring.
If you’ve never played Revelations, I guarantee you this is one game you will definitely enjoy this year as we’ll be traveling once again back in time to 2005 between Resident Evil 4 and 5 with the original series protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield returning to the field to protect Terragrigia and fight off the bioterrorist organization “Il Veltro.”
Enjoy the trailer above which showcases some of the action and situations you will encounter when the game launches May 21st.

Neak – Hollywood Talk (feat. Psalm One)
Once again, Neak proves that he is certainly a force to be reckoned with. With his latest track titled “Hollywood Talk,” the rapper goes into a heavy discussion about the way that record labels view artists without even giving them a chance. The descriptive cut features fellow MC Psalm One, as they aim to carve a relevant point of view into the minds of the masses. The production may sound smooth from Mulatto Patriot, but the artists provide a rarity of reality with their words, which gives them both the perfect opportunity to prove themselves.
Tayyib Ali & Cisco Adler – Way Back When
The homie Tayyib Ali is back as he is linking with Banana Beat’s own Cisco Adler for a full length EP. Listen as Tayyib Ali reminisces about back then in the days while he was growing up in Philly trying to make a better living for himself and fam. Cisco Adler crafts the perfect instrumental for Tayyib to flow over and kill it easily in his own fashion. Look out for that The One Way EP on the way soon from the duo as they will bring us some fresh flavors to rock too.
Ashton Kutcher As Steve Jobs In “jOBS”
One film that you’ll be needing to look out for this year is jOBS, a biographical visual covering the career of the late great Steve Jobs. Present Two And A Half Men star Ashton Kutcher has taken upon the role of playing the man himself, as he attempts to portray the reality of Apple Inc.’s influential founder.
In this exclusive clip from the film, it’s obvious that Kutcher has been stylized into the appearance of Jobs. It shows a conversation between him and co-founder Steve Wozniak at the beginning of their career, long before the company became a worldwide sensation. “How does somebody know what they want if they’ve never ever seen it?” pleads Jobs, as he acts as a convincing figure.
The film will be available to view in theaters on April 19th.
Demrick – Smoke
It’s 4:20 on the West Coast right now, so what better way to deliver this new banger from LA resident Demrick entitled “Smoke” from his upcoming project. Listen as Demrick talks about living his crazy life and the only way to escape it is by refering to drugs and smoking that good ole kush and just fading away and kicking it with his homies. This is something we all are familiar with over here at OnSMASH as we can relate on so many levels. Look out for that All The Wrong Things 2 project dropping on February 11th.
Produced by Jim Jonsin.

Iamsu! – I Be On That (feat. Dave Steezy)
Iamsu! is not showing any signs of slowing down after giving us a freestyle over Rocky’s “Fuckin’ Problems” instrumental, he’s back once again with another new one “I Be On That” with Dave Steezy. Listen as they go in over this electronic sound instrumental which was crafted by Iamsu! himself along side The Invasions Kuya Beats. The Last of Us Demo To Be Included With God of War: Ascension
As one of our most anticipated games of 2013 directly behind Grand Theft Auto 5, we’ll soon be able to embark on a journey across post-pandemic United States with the fate of Joel and Elilie lives in our hands for Naughty Dog’s upcoming survival horror action-adventure game, “The Last of Us.”
Two months before we get the game, we’ll see another PlayStation exclusive with the 2nd release in the God of War series this generation on PS3 with “Ascension” hitting shelves on Mar. 12th. Purchasers of “God of War: Ascension” will be able to obtain The Last of Us demo before it’s available on the PlayStation Network and the official release May 7th.
While Sony’s hoping this will create incentive for gamers to go out and purchase the new God of War title to play its biggest game of the year, only time will tell from here out whether fans will be that dedicated to put forth essentially $60 bones just to play a demo.
