The Queen of R&B Soul dominated the ’90s. One of her most notable songs coming from a soundtrack, was the 1996 single “Not Gon’ Cry” from the Waiting To Exhale OST. The Babyface-written and produced track evokes much emotion from Mary, as she sings about a cheating husband, as seen in the film. The track also showed up on Blige’s Share My World album, which might not have been her most celebrated album, but is a solid effort.
