Toronto Canada Spitter Drake’s label imprint, OVO (October’s Very Own) kicks off the newest season of their apparel merchandise collaborating with New York City-based boutique/brand , Nepenthes Purple Label. OVO and Nepenthes link up to bring us the ”No New Friends” collection, which is a ode to the record ”No New Friends,” rumored to be the single for Drizzy’s upcoming album. The collection features a range of “No New Friends” and logo branded shirts and hoodies, in a variety of colors.

Metal Gear: Rising Demo Released In Japan, Coming To America Next Month
Sony set to release the most anticipated demo of the ground breaking franchise Metal Gear series next month for for the PlayStation and Xbox platforms . With the war sets in a robotic war going on, Raiden must seek a way to stop war once and for all. As for right now, its only available for Japan for the moment. We’ll keep you updated upon the release of the US date as you can check back frequently for more news.

ScienZe – The Quest(ion)
It’s been a while since we last heard a solo jam from the Brooklyn lyricist, but he brings our concerns to a rest with his admirable “The Quest(ion)” single. Fresh out of recording, ScienZe shows us what we’ve been missing as he gives us his wonderfully aligned vocals over sampled production from Lord Quest. While he provides new music for his long-term patient fans, a project titled Ella is also on the horizon – if it’s panned out to sound like this taster, then we’re in store for a treat. “Will I ever fall in love in my life?”, asks the rapper. We’ll leave that for you to answer.

Trinidad Jame$ Signs To Def Jam
After the much talked about debate of who he would sign for, the rapper from Atlanta has officially decided to put pen to paper to confirm a deal with Def Jam Recordings. Trinidad Jame$’ initial attraction quite clearly came off the back of his successful “All Gold Everything” single, which is currently nearing three million views on YouTube. The label’s president Joie Manda had this to say upon the announcement:
“We’re excited to welcome a young talent like Trinidad Jame$ to the Def Jam family. Def Jam prides itself as both a cornerstone of hip-hop’s rich tradition, and as a vital, forward-thinking label dedicated to breaking and nurturing emerging artists. Trinidad Jame$ represents the cutting-edge of what’s happening in the culture today. We are thrilled to have him at the label, and look forward to growing his already massive buzz.”
We’re excited to see what moves will be made in the near future, but the rumoured two million dollar deal should give Trinidad and Gold Gang Records what they need to put together their talent in the most effective way possible.

NBA Game Of The Week: Lakers vs. Knicks
Knicks Looking To Improve At 17-5, While The Lakers Are Just…Looking.

It’s weird to think The Black Mamba coming to the mecca, Madison Square Garden, and playing the Knicks would be the second biggest story of a game, but tonight it is. While the Lakers have struggled with a below .500 record as they’re expected by most win, the Knicks have re-surged this year for the first time in nearly 14 years becoming a legit threat for the NBA Championship next June.
The MVP of the regular season thus far has been hands down Carmelo Anthony as this season his career’s taken a rebirth with the arrival mentor Jason Kidd to help guide him on and off the court into become a future champion. Like previously stated, the Lakers expect to win; but while the Knicks aren’t, Melo is looking to put his New York Knickerbockers on the NBA forefront tonight with a win against former coach Mike D’Antoni, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Tonight also marks the first time coach Mike D’Antoni returns back to the garden as we expect lots of pro-Melo supporters voicing their opinion against their former coach. Since his departure, the Knicks have only lost twice at MSG with Melo finally finding himself in the City. Carmelo has a lot to prove tonight especially against the biggest NBA franchise of all time, the Los Angeles Lakers and a win tonight could solidify his status as the MVP.
The Lakers can’t afford to lose their fourth straight falling to 9-14 with the top 6 teams in the Western Conference playing consistently good basketball as well as the imminent pending returns of both Dirk Nowitzki and Rick Rubio as their teams are at 7 and 8.
I expect Kobe Bryant to deliver another classic MSG performance he’s known for as his teams going to need him to put forth his best effort to avoid a 4-game skid. Even without superstars Amare, Gasol and Nash not playing; Melo and Kobe are enough to make this game enjoyable as all my fellow basketball heads out there should watch this game even if you’re fond in both of these teams.

Killer Mike Announces 2013 European Tour
This year we’ve been proud to see the ATL lyrical one Killer Mike finally achieve critically acclaimed status with the release of his sixth studio album “R.A.P. Music” which received high praise from nearly every musical outlet publication across the world. More so, he even achieved 50 Best Albums of 2012 for Rolling Stone landing in at number 20 only behind “Life Is Good” and “good kid m.A.A.d city.”
In 2013, Killa Kill will be starting the year off right in proper fashion with a 21-city European Tour beginning in late January. Fans of the emcee across the Atlantic to expect to see him in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and more as you can check after the jump to view the complete list of dates.

Josh Hamilton, Los Angeles Angels Agree To 5-Year/$125M Deal
California Dreaming? Hello Hollywood!
Baseballs most prized player in this off-season’s free agency, the Los Angeles Angels have acquired free agent center-fielder Josh Hamilton to a five-year, $125 million dollar contract. This comes just days after their cross-town rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers added pitchers Zack Greinke and Ryu Hyun-jin increasing their team payroll to over $200M.
Already having Albert Pujols, only a year older than Hamilton approaching the back-end of his career, Angel’s management feels their time to bet big is now which is why they went out and got the former 2010 AL MVP, Hamilton.
This move instantly bolsters their hitting lineup with the one-two punch of Pulols and Hamilton along with bona fide sluggers in Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo making this one of the scariest line-ups pitchers can look forward to. Hamilton’s had off the field issues early in his career with substance abuse as most would say Hollywood’s not a good look for the 31-year old slugger, but now with age, growth and maturity; he’s went on to change his life around leaving the temptation all behind him.
The upcoming 2013 MLB Season is already shaping up to be a good one as we’re curious what else in store for these Winter meetings.

Ticked into murdering his wife and child, we’ll finally be taken into of Kratos in both combat and objective styled games.
