One of our most played R&B songs of the year, Elle Varner’s “Refill,” got a dope flip for a Livestream session earlier today. Elle stripped down her Perfectly Imperfect single to be backed by a piano, guitar and beatboxing for her in-studio performance. Shout out to the band for their incredible efforts backing Elle on this. It came out smooth as shit.
We’re going to need the high quality, live version of the track ASAP.

Fif hit the Power 106 studios in LA earlier and sat down with Big Boy’s Neighborhood to discuss a number of things. And like always with Curtis, he clears the air about multiple matters that have been swirling around his name as of lately… Above, he talks about Chief Keef and how he skipped out on the video shoot of “Hate Being Sober” with both 50 and Wiz Khalifa on set and what Interscope plans to do.
After the jump, 50 talks about collaborating with Eminem more in the future and the details and origins of how him and Floyd Mayweather started their beef… First The Money Team break up, now everyday I wake up, somebody got a problem with Fif!
One of the tracks we haven’t heard off the album yet, Wiz Khalifa’s Jim Jonsin-produced “Up In It,” gets a small preview in the background of this Wiz clip as he explains how the track came about. Young Khalifa said he listened to the beat over and over before laying anything down in the booth, but he laced a certain flow for the hook and it stuck.

As we approach the release of Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming directorial, the artwork and tracklist for the soundtrack have been revealed. If you’re not aware of the film, Django Unchained is set for release on December 25th, starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and many more.
Moving away from the cast, we come across a rather interesting line-up for the soundtrack, with the likes of John Legend, Rick Ross, Tupac, James Brown, Anthony Hamilton and other notable artists making contributions. You’ll also be pleased to know that Jamie Foxx took upon producing a number of songs as well as his acting role. Tarantino had this to say about the collection of 23 tracks:
“I want to thank all the artists who contributed original songs (a first for me) to the picture. Most of these contributions came out of the artists’ own inspiration and their illustration of the film’s soul is invaluable. In addition to the new original songs I am also using a lot of older recordings on the soundtrack – many of which came from my personal vinyl collection. Instead of having the record companies give me new digitally cleaned up versions of these recordings from the 60′s and 70′s, I wanted to use the vinyl I’ve been listening to for years – complete with all the pops and cracks. I even kept the sound of the needle being put down on the record. Basically because I wanted people’s experience to be the same as mine when they hear this soundtrack for the first time.”
Make sure you get a chance to pick up the soundtrack during the Christmas holidays, with a release to stores and iTunes on December 18th. Take a look at the full tracklist after the jump.

After releasing the smash hit “Let Me Love You” and watching it climb up the top of the Hot 100 charts, Ne-Yo is returning with the new single off R.E.D., the Fabolous and Diddy-featured “Should Be You.” The track has a bit of that ’90s feel, but it’s surprisingly not a dance record.
Be sure to support Ne-Yo and cop his album if you haven’t already.
