Babyface is next in our OS Flashback series, with his 1994 single “When Can I See You.” The winner of Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the Grammy’s and hands down, the most recognizable track from his For the Cool in You album, is a very personal and somber melody that stands out because of the acoustic vibe he brought to it.

We’ve all lost a love at one point or another, and Babyface captures the sentiment perfectly. Yearning to see that person one more time, hanging on for dear hope waiting on if/when it’ll ever happen again. This is a definitely gem in his catalog.
