For the latest episode of the new MTV original series “This Is How I Made It,” rapper Mac Miller and Olympian gold-medal winning gymnast Gabrielle Douglas are the next two profiled as they share their path from childhood to living out their dreams. In this clip above, Gabrielle discusses her early childhood dream of wanting to be a gymnast from an early age seeing her older sister performing with her mother enrolling her in classes to become the best women’s gymnast in the world.

Mac Miller touches on growing up in a musical house and having a deep passion for music at an early age as he would even write rhymes during class constantly. He also speaks on dealing with constant criticism and how it affected him to push harder and never give up in his on dream. Mac has since went on to have a No. 1 Billboard album with “Blue Slide Park,” and has upcoming EP With Pharrell entitled Pink Slime with his sophomore album Watching Movies With The Sound Off to follow at the top of next year.
