We would see 4 consecutive 1-2-3 innings from both pitchers In the top of the 3rd, Ryan Flaherty would give Baltimore their first score of the game with a 356 ft. homer to deep right off Kuroda.
Jumping to the bottom of the third, Russell Martin would double to deep left followed by a triple from Derek Jeter to bring in Martin and even the game at 1 all. Going to the top of 5th, Manny Machado would homer to left center being first at bat to regain the lead for Baltimore. The bats would become very dry from both teams as the Yankees Raul Ibanez would hit a homer to right center on Jim Johnson to even the game at 2 shocking the entire city of Baltimore and its fans.
