After Monday’s missed call in Seattle heard around the world where an interception from Packers safety M.D. Jennings was called a touchdown for Seahawks receiver Golden Tate. This NFL immediately received public outcry from ever fan across the world as well as intense scrutiny from within the league, various major sports networks and even President Obama.
Late Wednesday night, the NFL and NFL Referees Association have finally reached a new collective bargaining agreement to end their three-month lockout where the two sides will finalize paperwork this morning. The new agreement is expected to last 8-years in which 51 percent of the union’s 121 members have vote “Yes” this Friday and Saturday in Dallas.
We can expect the “regular” referees on hand to call tonight’s game when the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns play on the NFL Network for week 4 Thursday Night Football.
