50 Cent, French Montana, Mac Miller, Common, Roscoe Dash Share New Year’s Resolutions
50 Cent probably gave one of the more honest New Year’s resolutions in the entire video, but Roscoe Dash came in at a close second.
OS Flashback: Jay-Z – Money Ain’t A Thang (feat. Jermaine Dupri)
We were chopping it up with a homie about the ’90s the other day, and somehow, the soundtrack to Life In 1472 came up. He remembered how much burn that CD got back in the day and we couldn’t help but to think of the biggest single off that album.
The track also ended up on Hov’s critically acclaimed Hard Knock Life Vol. 2 as a bonus and really helped set off his run back in 1998, generating 2 of his biggest hits at that time in “Can I Get A…” and “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem).”
Ah, the good ‘ol days.
OS FLASHBACK: The Lox – Money, Power, Respect (feat. Lil Kim & DMX) [Music Video]
Common vs. Drake: Who Do You Got In A Battle?
Not trying to instigate anything, but after listening to Common’s album The Dreamer, The Believer and Drake’s Take Care back to back last night, we were wondering what you guys would think of a battle that would match up the two on wax.
One one hand, people will always say how Drake can’t spit because he sings too much, but if you take it to the old catalog, you know the boy has bars. Common is a natural born spitter, so we already know he can bring it. It almost seems like “Sweet” was only a shot to see if Drake (or anyone else) would take the bait. Things have kind of fizzled since the day Com and 40 went at it on Twitter after calling Drake out by name last week.
So hypothetically speaking, who do you got in a battle: Common or Drake?
