The legendary Mannie Fresh, was the next guest to stop by Rosenberg radio for the “Juan EP” series. Mannie sits down with Ciph and Rosenberg to discuss his entire music history from beginning to now. He started music following in his father’s footsteps as a street DJ in his childhood, which he never had initial intentions of being a producer.
Fresh went on to talk about meeting Baby and Slim for the first time in the original Ca$h Money days working with UNLV. With Slim being the brains of the operation, Birdman using his hustler tactics and Mannie being the creative genius, the CMB Empire instantly formed. Before their major deal with Universal Records, Ca$h Money sold $200K records independently with no distribution.
You can watch all of this and A LOT more in the hour-long interview with Hot97.

Producer: Robin Hannibal
Album: Avalanche
Label: Vested in Culture, a division of Epic Records / Sony Music Entertainment
iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/avalanche/id642533042
Indy-Danish duo, Quadron (Coco O & Robin Hannibal) are planning the release of their second studio album “Avalanche” out June 4th. The album only has one guest appearance, which we have here with the Kendrick Lamar-featured “Better Off.”
You might remember vocalist Coco O from Tyler, the Creator’s “Treehome95” along with Music from Baz Luhrmann’s Film, The Great Gatsby earlier this month, as you get a taste of what Quadron can do on their own. This isn’t the first time Quadron and Kendrick Lamar have crossed paths, as the duo were also members of Boom Clap Bachelors, which K. Dot used material from his “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” from their song, “Tiden Flyver.”
You can enjoy the track above and pre-order the album on iTunes now.

Over two months have passed since we last heard a solo offering from Earl Sweatshirt, but that gap has now been broken with his next release. The Odd Future member’s latest single comes in the form of “Guild,” which includes a guest contribution from Most Dope general, Mac Miller. The track has been featured in live performances for quite some time, but only now is the collaboration being heard in its entirety. Although a date is still yet to be confirmed, you can expect the song to appear on Earl’s forthcoming album Doris.

In 1999, Erick and Parrish Making Dollars were going “Out of Business” (literally and figuratively) with their last album before the duo’s second breakup. One of our most played tracks from the project was the Symphony 2000 cut that featured battle rapper Lady Luck, Tical and Reggie. Themed from classic horror films, our favorite part was Lady Luck reenacting the promo scene from “Carrie” where a bucket of blood landed on her all white dress and she continued to rap like it was nothing.

Click image to watch “Don Jon” film trailer
There’s no denying that Joseph Gordon-Levitt had one of the most successful 12 months in 2012. With roles in The Dark Knight Rises, Premium Rush, Looper and Lincoln under his belt, it’s now time for the actor to take upon a position in the director’s hot seat.
Not to mention Levitt undertaking the leading role in the movie, his next venture Don Jon focusses around a particular man’s priorities in life, involving his body, pad, ride, family, church, boys, girls, porn and simply nothing else. This is until he meets a rather special woman (played by Scarlett Johansson) who changes his entire perpective on life as a whole, allowing him to learn more and realize what else is important.
Expect the motion picture to hit theaters on October 18th.
